Olunike

Just a while ago, I had the honour of meeting Olunike Adeliyi.  Her aura was astounding. She gave us a wonderful word of her life, and how it is working in the industry. Olunike has worked alot in the screen, from being in Saw 3D and the hit television show, Flashpoint. She gave our production class many pointers on how to be successful as an actor and how to be in the moment. One moment that stuck to me was when a classmate of mine asked "since we are doing relationship scenes, how do you become more comfortable with your partner?" What her stragety was, simply astounded me. She took the classmate that asked that question and asked her to sit with her on the floor, and she simply said to just sit and examine your relationship partner. She said to notice everything interesting about them and to just feel them as if they were your partner. Not in a creepy way of course, but just simply figuring out who they are and what part of them makes them who they are. It was just amazing the way she taught it to us, and that has stuck into my mind ever since. Olunike is such a humble and amazing person and I will never forget her.
